Oh My Cream
A popular beauty and skincare store with brands you can trust to work, this is definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for some changes to your skincare routine. Or if you’re looking for brands you’ve only read about but haven’t been easily able to get your hands on to try. This store stocks leading international brands, as well as French, that will address all your needs. In addition to their own skincare line with the same name, you’ll find brands like Tata Harper, Susanne Kaufmann, Agent Nateur, Cut by Fred, Grown Alchemist, Olio E Osso, Patyka, Hoskia, Lebon, Kjaer Weis, Leonor Greyl, and the much raved about Augstinus Bader. Admittedly there is not as much in the way of makeup, and the products/brands they do have tend to lean for the more natural look, but the truth is, this is not the store you go to for makeup – it’s the store you go to when you want the best skin and haircare, no matter what your skin or hair type. And even better is that they have trained experts on staff to help you discover what products you need or would best suit your skin, making recommendations that will deliver the results you want.

Instead, you’ll find simple yet elegant items to up your jewellery game; pieces that offer a timeless sophistication, unlikely to ever go out of style. If you’re concerned about pricing, while there is nothing available that one can call “cheap”, you’ll be pleased to know there is a diverse range in pricing, with simple pieces less than €100, and others going up into the thousands (as to be expected of any jeweller who makes engagement rings). This is a wonderful place to shop if you’re looking to invest in something simple that you’ll wear for years, without dropping thousands or worrying about everyone else having the same thing.

Anthology Paris
A great store if you’re looking for leather goods, specifically shoes and bags, that are stylish without being too trendy that you need to retire them a year later. This is where you’ll find that new pair of boots you were looking for, that are comfortable without compromising on style, that look great with everything but aren’t trapped by seasonal styles. You’ll find classics that your closet needs, even when you don’t actually need it, at a moderate price. Boots typically range from €250-350, depending on various factors, such as materials and heel height. However, the sales are usually good here if you happen to be shopping during sale season. And don’t forget about your VAT return, which should help with any sticker shock. You’ll also find that the leather bags, which are predominantly crossbody, are reasonably priced for the quality and style.
Anthology Paris has expanded in recent years, with four stores in Paris, and a few locations in other cities. However, two of their storefronts are near each other and in the Montmartre and SoPi area.

A.P.C. Surplus
A popular contemporary brand, A.P.C is one of those stores where you’ll find lots of pieces you’d love to wear but never seem to have amazing sales. However, rather than deal with fighting crowds during sale season, you can go to the A.P.C. Surplus store, which sells old seasonal products for up to 50% their original price. Sure, it’s technically a few seasons old, but you’ll be surprised to see how relevant and stylish the items still are. Unlike in other outlet stores where you typically bold and outlandish styles that only some would deign to wear, here you’ll find items that you’d be happy to change into right then and there.

A fun feminine store where you can find anything you might need to spruce up your closet, with fun jewellery to cozy yet colourful staples. You’ll also find homeware items and fun kitschy goods that make for excellent souvenirs (whether for yourself or someone else). Paperdolls refers to itself as a concept store, featuring independent designers, chosen for their soft feminine style. Most of the items you’ll find here are produced in France and limited, so it’s best to snatch up anything you fall in love with because there’s no guarantee you’ll find it again. The store itself matches the vibe of the products sold, aiming to look like a girly Parisian apartment or boudoir, with floral printed wallpaper, hat boxes lining shelves, and colourful mirrors resting on cabinets and drawers.
